Tenants must be provided with proof within a 30 day period that the deposit has been protected. my|deposits
members are provided with a Deposit Protection Certificate which along with the Information for Tenants leaflet
must be given to their tenant as proof that their deposit is correctly protected. After 30 days, the tenant can make
a claim to the courts if the deposit is not protected and/or evidence of the protection is not provided.
